This will all depend on exactly what your Specialized category is and the services you offer of course. Presenting yourself (your services) as knowing the industry you'll be marketing to is your big plus or as we say...Your Maximum-Impact advantage!

While your business marketing approach would include posting your service online on classified ads, social networking, high-traffic websites, email lists, mailers, etc., 'What' your message delivery says is just as important and even more so as 'Where' your delivering your message.

Now just in case you're wondering how much potential for business you might be able to target with the M&E industry we used as an illustration in this article, here is a statistic that will give you a decent idea.

- The U.S. media and entertainment (M&E) industry is the largest in the world. At $735 billion, it represents a third of the global M&E industry, and it includes motion pictures, television programs and commercials, streaming content, music and audio recordings, broadcast, radio, book publishing, video games, and ancillary services and products. The U.S. industry is expected to reach more than $830 billion by 2022, according to the latest Entertainment & Media Outlook by PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Can you dissect the above categories into some of the numerous sub-categories within the M&E industry? Music and Audio Recordings for example, don't you think that the Indie Music category would be a great place to target your services due to the fact that the startup Indie musicians, songwriters, singers, performers, etc. don't have the large budgets of the majors to hire a staff of attorneys? What about the independent film producers and documentarians out there? These startups don't have those huge budgets either. We've also discussed this is come recent articles you may want to check out as well.

Here's where your Familiarity research ahead of time can pay off. By researching some of the History of each of these sub-categories you find interesting such as some of the court cases on piracy, plagiarism, copyright and trademark infringement cases for example, can show you are both interested and familiar with the industry you are targeting your service to. This can provide a great introductory 'ice-breaker' for you when contacting these production companies and indie artists. Your Familiarity Bio should consist of several hand-picked topics of the specific industry you find of interest. You may just want to select 3-4 to start and research the history and some legal cases involving each one and how they were resolved and highlight each one in short synopsis form or even one-liner listings on your separate Familiarity Bio sheet.

By marketing to these industry categories you can draft a message delivery pitch that legitimately adds two strong calls of action for your service.

One that you're saving them hundreds to thousands in processing fees by cutting out the middleman ie; the law firm that simply does the same tasks, The second is your familiarity of the industry you choose to market to. The Indie Artists for example do not have the budget to hire a full time legal staff so you would be saving them considerable money to perform the same services.

Two very good selling points if you draft your Ad Delivery strong enough. Those whom don't have the time and knowledge to do it themselves or the resources to hire a law firm, make you an excellent selection as you are offering a money saving credible alternative as a legal document preparer and service provider.

Just remember two things, this article is not etched in 'stone', it's meant to get you thinking creatively, and one of the most successful tactics in Advertising and Promoting, 'Sell Yourself and You Sell Your Business!'
