Did you grab onto that last statement? A Paralegal using AI as a tool, you ask? Now, stop and think for just a second about that last scenario. Isn't the very foundation of that statement one of the very main functions in one form or another of a good PL department to begin with? Certainly a 'Maximum-Impact' value that comes with defining yourself as a Value Packed Paralegal individual that uses creative strategy to your advantage and ensures higher quality control over using AI in the firm you are a part of, or even going into business for yourself..

One example of an application of using AI as a 'Creative' support tool is one of defusing attrition within a firm, and that can be a pretty handy skill if you can formulate a good plan. And, what does that eventually lead to? Right, something that you might want to label as introducing a HPR (Higher Performance Ratio) within the firm. Now, you've just been given another subtle but creative tip and a Free Acronym to play with. Stop and think about it for a second... Figure it out? Probably not, so consider this one: you've probably never heard of the term HPR in the specific term as described here, but it applies. The HR (SHR) Manager's Position

Think of it this way, put yourself in the position of say the lead attorney or HR manager at a firm to whom you'll be applying. Look at the HR Department of a large firm as a Casting Agency for the Entertainment Industry. Their position is to find the best suited person for the part. So let's say there are 3 other applicants competing with you for the same position. When they show up they ususally can only demonstrate their understanding of the job functions of an HR assistant or manager and are a bit vague as to your ad\vantages to the specific firm in the specific AI category. Then someone shows up and demonstrates to you, the HR screener, that not only are they certified for PL (but in their resume, they label theirself as a SPL Super Paralegal). On top of that they also have listed a unique Familiarity Specific Addendum some key AI requirements and functions desirable to the AI firm they're applying to, but are also knowledgeable enough on the topics they highlighted in their Familiarity Addendum to engage in a conversion with you (the HR screener or lead attorney) showing they have the certifications of both PL and sound basic knowledge for both the firm's product(s) service(s) they are developing as well as the mission statement of the firm itself.

Don't you t think this individual would gain your attention and respect, and also, your strong consideration for the position? By the way, while this may sound basic, before applying to any firm you should not only be aware of their mission statement, but also study some of the inner-working characteristics and guidelines as well. Look at an (HR) assistant/manager or a lead attorney screening you as a Casting Agent in Hollywood. It's their job to bring the producers that most talented and unique 'fitting' person for a 'specific' part, so make that You!

MACHINE - TECHNOLOGY LEARNING ENGINEER STAFF FOR AI

One of the more important or shall we say, popular function or job title would be that of Machine or Technology Learning Engineers, in another word, Trainers. One of the key aspects of hiring a sound individual that fully understands the desired and necessary assets of this job function is that they understand not only how the AI 'machine' must be designed to perform but that they can be a good asset to the firm by being skilled at teaching the machine/robot/AI, etc. in natural-language performance as well as accurate translations with continually fewer errors. Also that the individual or engineer trainer fully understands the importance of how to emulate human behavior(s) as close as possible and that the applicant has the skills and training necessary to continue to advance their improvements along the way so they can grow with the firm and also understands this importance.

Understanding the Basic AI Job Functions

That being highlighted, here's an example of just three job functions where taking extra time in analyzing in a bit more detail will put you ahead of the rest competing for the same HR position. This job title alone has multiple sub-titles/functions associated with it. For example:

• Natural Language Processing, - (Human API)
• Computer Vision or Visionary if you will
• Predictions/Insights/Suggestive Cognizance
Not a psychic but a programmer implementing those various human traits into a computer chip so to speak.

Here's another example:

Yahoo engineers have recently developed an algorithm designed to emulate certain traits of Human attitudes, such as sarcasm on social media and websites with an accuracy of 80%. Another example of the advancement attempts being developed in AI.

So as you can see by the few basic examples of what AI is about you can get a general idea of how to plan your strategy towards this high paying and highly technical and advancing industry. Remember, with AI and Robotics, they're only as efficient as what they are programmed to function.

So, by using the creative SPL approach and drafting a strong one-page Familiarity Specific Addendum to your resume, you'll bring 'Maximum-Impact' to your High-Velocity career as a SPL professional. Creativity can be your edge with AI Robotics -- just don't get too caught up in the development stages and fascination of them to where you lose your advantage. Understand that with all the hoopla and ogling, they have limits as they're really just machines, so as we've said before, do yourself a great big favor...don't think like one…be someone who know how to “tell the machines what to do” and profit from that ability!

But in all of this keep in mind your strong suits as a Human vs AI, here are what I consider to be your strongest:
1    Creativity
2    Common Sense
3    Experience

Currently, AI has yet to take over the human advantage on these very valuab\le Elements. Remember AI depends on programming, and that is their weakness.
