Jr. Immigration Legal Assistant/Secretary (Koreatown/Miracle Mile)

Your job scope will roughly include the following. There is some room for altering your duties as you prefer and grow.
Assist in preparing immigration application packages: organizing documents, setting reminders, assembling final packages.
Database / Case Management Software: specialized biographical data entry, creating & reading reports, customizing features for clients and internal work flow
Creating and maintaining electronic files
Writing client e-mails
Bookkeeping software: client invoices, payments, etc.
I.T. trouble-shooting for Microsoft Office and PCs
Administrative tasks: answering phones, coordinating client meetings, executive assistant to firm founder
Here’s what you must have to be considered for the position:
1. At least 6 months of any professional office experience
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. High accuracy with details and a positive attitude
4. Prefer:
a. College graduate or current paralegal student
b. Experience preparing immigration application packages
c. Databases or case management software experience
d. Bookkeeping software experience
